On the App, visit Menu 
> Settings 
> My Lists > Friends. Here you can delete any friend by swiping left (or tapping the dots) and selecting the option to delete or block/delete that friend.
On the website, use the top-right account management panel (click on your username to access the drop-down panel) and select Friends to manage your friends list.
