Any upgraded RedHotPie member with a subscription at or above the “Extras” tier can create a group. Any user (including Guests) can request to join a public group, however in order to join a private group, you must be invited by a group administrator.
What's a Group category?
A group category is simply a label that many groups can use to categorise themselves to allow potential members find what they are looking for.
Can someone have the same Group name as mine?
Yes, someone can have the same group name as yours
What's the difference between a Private Group and a Public Group?
A Public Group is one where any RedHotPie member can request to join, and a group administrator can accept or decline their request. A Private Group, however, does not allow other members to request to join: they must be individually invited by a group administrator.
What's the difference between a Visible Group and an Invisible Group?
Visible Groups will have the group's activity visible to non group members on RedHotPie, that means that non group members can see the groups posts, albums, photos, videos and events
An Invisible Group, however, only shows this activity to members of the group, non members only being able to see the about and validations pages
What happens to my Group when my subscription expires?
When your subscription expires, your group will remain open, however you will not be able to add or edit posts, albums or events, as that group's administrator. You will, however, be able to edit or remove the group.
