After many, many years of faithful service at RedHotPie, Flirts are being retired in 2020. Flirts were a great icebreaker back in the day when Nokia reigned supreme and Apps didn't exist, but user expectations have changed significantly and the RedHotPie Team recognises that.
Understanding that people want a quick and easy way to let people know they are interested and that the other party are also interested, we have introduced Likes and Favs.
When you view another member’s profile you have the option to ‘Like’ or ‘Fav’ them. To Like someone, just click on the heart on their profile. The heart will become a solid green one, and you have 'Liked' that person. To really show that person you are interested though, you should Fav them by clicking on the blue star. Once you Fav someone, the star will become a solid blue one. You'll receive a notification when someone Fav's you.
Only upgraded members will be able to view a list of members that have Liked their profile, whereas all members can see who Fav'ed their profile. You can see your Likes and Favs via Prospects (on the App/Mobile Web) or by clicking on the people icon on the top right on the website.
Under Prospects you'll also be able to see your Matches: the people who have either Liked you back or Fav'ed you back. Matches are a great way to focus on people who are most likely to respond to messages from you.
Guests can see HOW MANY people Liked them but they will only be able to see WHO Liked them if they also Like them back.
Both Likes and Favs are limited, unless you are in our exclusive Platinum Diamond Club in which case you can Like and Fav to your heart's content. Please see below as to how many Likes and Favs are allocated to your membership level.
Not enough Likes and Favs? You can always upgrade to a higher level membership for more (or unlimited!), or you can wait until the next day for your count to refresh.
